IMO 122 - Analysis II

Course Objective

To learn basic definitions and theorems of analysis, to learn the methodology of constructing a scientific structure by proving the theories and their properties by using the definitions and axioms, advanced analysis, functional analysis, and basic mathematics knowledge that can be used in all areas of mathematics and to form an infrastructure for this purpose, to learn analytical thinking and analysis.

Course Content

Trigonometric functions, trigonometric relations, trigonometric equation solutions; complex numbers and properties; Riemann sum, definite integral, indefinite integral, integration methods, applications of integrals, improper integrals, series and convergence tests.

Rules

 In order to calculate the student's grade, the final exam score must be at least 30 or higher.


 In order for the student to take the final exam, the participation in the course must be at least 70 percent.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Recognizes trigonometric functions and uses them in equation solution.
  2. İntegrates and applies to questions.
  3. Calculates field and volume by integrate
  4. Recognizes the improper integrals and determines its character.
  5. Gains knowledge of convergence and divergence of series.
