Course Objective

Understand the objectives of teaching teachers about mathematics and the basic strategies and methods they can use in maths teaching

Course Content

Objectives and principles of primary school maths education are as follows: a review of the elementary school math lesson teaching program in terms of purpose, content, philosophical approach, teaching methods, measuring and evaluation techniques; mathematical understanding, misconceptions, and challenges for primary school students; measuring and evaluating in elementary school math lessons.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will be able to explain the purpose and principles of mathematics teaching
  2. Students will be able to have knowledge and skills about the methods to be used in mathematics teaching
  3. Students will be able to use information technologies while teaching mathematics
  4. Students will have information about the content of the mathematics program
  5. Students will be able to have knowledge about the content of primary school mathematics topics
