Course Objective

In this course, the individual is expected to gain the skills to interpret and explain the behavior of the individual in society and to act in accordance with the rules of society

Course Content

The field of social psychology, social impact and compliance, social cognition, attitudes and theoretical approaches to attitude change, communication and propaganda, socialization and social development, aggression / help, self, group structure and dynamics, leadership, prejudice, attraction and proximity, social psychology and culture

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Knows the concept of social social cognition and attribution theories..
  2. Define the effects of social impact (compliance, acceptance, obedience) on individual and group dynamics
  3. Knows the meaning, scope and historical development of social psychology.
  4. Knows and explains the reasons for aggression and helping
  5. Knows and explains attitudes and attitude changes
  6. Explains interpersonal attraction and close relationships.
  7. Understands the effects of communication and propaganda on behavior.
  8. Can understand and explain how human behavior is influenced by people, groups and cultures.
  9. Explain how the attitude is acquired and in what ways it is molded. Associates the issues of attitude change and group processes with the facts of daily life.
