Course Objective
Comparison of different cultures and societies in accordance with the methods, aims and findings of modern anthropology,
Symbols of different societies and cultures, economic and political functioning, family, kinship, religion and other belief systems and rituals knowing the person's own culture is to know.
Course Content
Basic concepts of anthropology and culture; the history of cultural anthropology and cultural change, culture and values, concepts related to culture (language, ecology, forms of production and economy), gender, marriage, family, kinship and family systems; symbolic meaning of social organizations and ceremonies; to deal with different fields of religion such as religion anthropology, communication, economics, education, film and photography, history, journalism, law, linguistics, literature, medicine, political science and sociology.
