Course Objective

The aim of this course is:

-to provide students with an introduction to the general theory of law and introduce them the basic concepts and institutions of both private and public law;

-to introduce the basic concepts and institutions of law and

-to evaluate the cases in view of law rules he/she faces in real life

 

Course Content

Concepts of law, basic legal systems in the world, sources of law, branches of law, features of those branches, legislation, and application of laws, interpretation of laws, judicial systems, courts, and cases.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. The graduate knows fundamental legal concepts.
  2. Graduates know the branches law and their characteristics.
  3. knows the types of cases and which court hears which cases.
  4. knows the fundamental rights and freedoms of its citizens and the ways to seek redress.
