4. MISSION, VISION, CORE VALUES AND POLICY
4.1 Our Mission
In line with our University's mission, stated as “To educate virtuous, well-equipped leaders who have internalized the values of our civilization, produce science, serve humanity and shape the future”, our Faculty's mission is to train well-rounded lawyers who protect human rights and freedoms and fundamental values, take law and justice as their guide, are research-minded, inquisitive, highly analytical and able to lead society. Its mission also includes ensuring that our students have the opportunity to work in professions such as judge and prosecutor above all, as well as attorney, district governor and notary, and to pursue careers in international organizations, including international missions, and in the private sector.
4.2 Our Vision
To train lawyers who respect the values inherited by Turkish society from its noble past, are equipped with knowledge suited to the needs of today, are preferred in the public and private sectors and have a high capacity for leadership. Among the visions of our Faculty of Law is to show our students, from their undergraduate education onwards, the newly emerging areas in which they can specialize while practising their professions, and to enable them, with the expertise they will gain in these areas, to stand out among their peers and make a difference in the public and private sectors and in academic life.
