Computer Engineering
The Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Department of International Trade and Finance aims to train specialists who have a global vision, draw strength from local riches, can think strategically, and are entrepreneurial, competitive and inclined to teamwork. Prepared with an interdisciplinary approach, the curriculum offers a solid foundation in fields such as business administration, economics, finance, international trade and marketing. Educated in a multicultural environment, students specialize in international trade and finance and become equipped to work as specialists or managers in national and international companies, financial institutions, development organizations and scientific research centres.

The Department of Computer Engineering aims to train competent, innovative and socially responsible engineers who meet the needs of the field in the design, development and management of information systems. Our department offers a balanced education in computer software, hardware and network structures, built on a strong academic foundation. Our goal is to enable our graduates to pursue successful careers at both national and international levels in the information technology sector, in industry and in academia.
Our Program Educational Objectives:
- Opportunity to learn foreign languages (free of charge),
- Opportunity to do a minor (with a scholarship for the normal period of study plus one additional year),
- Opportunity to do a double major (with a scholarship for the normal period of study plus one additional year),
- Opportunity to study abroad through international exchange programmes (1 or 2 semesters),
- Opportunity to continue with master's programmes after graduation.
Career Opportunities
Graduates of International Trade and Finance have wide job opportunities in the public and private sectors. Graduates:
- Can work as inspectors, auditors and assistant specialists in institutions such as the Ministry of Economy, the Central Bank, the Undersecretariat of Treasury, Borsa Istanbul, the CMB and the BRSA.
- Can work in state and private banks, above all participation banks, as well as in industrial organizations, insurance companies, accounting and auditing firms, national and international research organizations and private sector companies.
- Can take on active roles in international markets and financial institutions.
Graduates who wish to pursue an academic career can continue with master's and doctoral programmes
