ABOUT US
Our Security Office provides a healthy, peaceful, safe and uninterrupted service 24/7 at 19 different points on the Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University campus, working in three shifts.
To ensure the safety of University staff, students and guests and to protect our campus against possible sabotage, fire and theft, the service is procured from a contracted private security company.
Security Services at our University are carried out under the management of the University Security Office and the Manager of the contracted security company.
The security duty is performed in accordance with Law No. 5188 on Private Security Services and its Regulation, in the form of "post duty", "vehicle and foot patrols", "entrance gate checks", "supervision and monitoring of the various activities held within the University", "safeguarding and handing over lost property found on University grounds and persons involved in matters concerning law enforcement" and "protection of evidence at incident scenes".

OUR DUTIES / ACTIVITIES
Protecting the University against all kinds of danger.
Carrying out and recording entry and exit checks at the University.
Carrying out identity checks.
Monitoring camera recordings.
Providing traffic control services and implementing the decisions of the Traffic Board.
Supervising and overseeing all meetings, seminars, student club events and activities held at our University.
Implementing the relevant directives and instructions of our University.
Working in coordination with the general law enforcement authorities and, until they arrive, exercising the powers to apprehend suspects, hold them in custody and preserve evidence.
Preparing reports and official records on incidents that occur.
The Private Security Coordination Office provides security services on an uninterrupted 24-hour basis.
