This research project aims to conduct a comparative study of the fundamental concepts of fifteenth-century Ottoman and Burgundian (medieval European) political thought. The project seeks to make sense of the differences between the key concepts and discourses of both political cultures, as well as to identify their common points and connections. Through a cross-cultural comparative historiographical approach, this project will contribute new insights into the period and the field.
