Mimarlık, published by the Chamber of Architects of Türkiye since 1963, is Türkiye's longest-running and highest-circulation architecture journal. Published bimonthly, six issues a year, the journal's editorial office, with its editor, associate editors and editorial board, is based in Ankara. Marking its 50th anniversary in 2013, the journal has managed to maintain its overall character throughout half a century of publication, even as it has undergone changes in content and design alongside the transformations in Turkish architecture and the architectural profession.
In each issue, themes that are on the current agenda or that the journal aims to bring onto the agenda are addressed as dossiers by specialists in the field, as the outcome of several months of work. The other regular sections are: assessments, critiques and academic articles examining significant issues and projects in every respect (urban, architectural, legal, political); award-winning projects from architectural and urban design competitions, which readers in Türkiye can follow regularly only in MİMARLIK; articles on theoretical debates concerning modern architecture in Türkiye, the practice of this period and raising awareness of its conservation; sections compiling museum objects, information and documents that could be included in the architecture museum currently being established in Türkiye; and, in addition, news from the world of architecture and reviews of newly published books.
MİMARLIK is indexed in international databases:
- Avery Index (since January 2008)
- Ulrichs Periodical Directory (since September 2008)
- Arthistoricum.net (Virtuelle Fachbibliothek Kunstgeschichte) (since October 2008)

OpenAIRE is a pan-European research information system that provides services for discovering, depositing, linking and analysing research outputs from all disciplines. OpenAIRE is a European open science infrastructure that provides a network of Open Access repositories, archives and journals supporting Open Access policies.
With the launch of the OpenAIRE portal in 2010, it became possible for the first time to document EU-funded projects and their academic outputs as a whole and make them available to the public. Another important step was the establishment of the European repository ZENODO in cooperation with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). This repository is a versatile platform for academics.
As a key European e-infrastructure for open science, OpenAIRE will make a valuable contribution to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
OpenAIRE is a pan-European meta repository with more than 60 partner institutions from all EU countries and beyond. It has local partners - national open access desks, or NOADs for short - in all countries of the European Union as well as in Switzerland, Norway, Serbia, Iceland and Türkiye. They represent OpenAIRE's interests in the relevant country, answer questions, provide information or refer enquiries to other offices.
