Rector Acar and Prof. Bayındır Reappointed as Members of the Presidential Policy Board
By the decision of our President, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar has been reappointed as a Member of the Presidential Board of Education and Training Policies, while Prof. Dr. Servet Bayındır, a faculty member at the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, has been reappointed as a Member of the Presidential Board of Economic Policies.
The decision regarding the appointments was published in the Official Gazette dated April 10, 2025, and has entered into force.
We extend our best wishes for continued success to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar, and our faculty member, Prof. Dr. Servet Bayındır, and hope that their valuable contributions will continue.

President of the Board of Trustees of Gaza Islamic University Prof. Dr. Nasereddin Almuzaini, Former Rector Kamalayas Shaath, Turkey Representative Mon Naim and Raif Alshorafa joined to visit.
New Agreement Signed with Missouri S&T University
V.Chancellor and Executive Provost of Missouri University Science and Technology (MST) Prof. Dr. Robert J. MARLEY visited IZU on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. The meetings which took place with IZU President Prof. Dr. Mehmet BULUT, Vice-President Prof. Dr. Nasuh USLU, Vice-President Prof. Dr. İbrahim GÜNEY and International Relations Coordinator Mustafa Salih ÖZET, began at 10:30.
