İZÜ Sports Council Introduced in Ankara
The İZÜ Sports Council Project was presented to former Minister of Youth and Sports and İzmir Member of Parliament Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu. The model, developed to ensure university students’ participation in sports management processes, includes collecting data through student representatives, establishing a participatory decision-making mechanism, and creating a sustainable structure in university sports governance. The project, developed under the leadership of İZÜ Sports Affairs Team Leader Barlas Sözer, aims to serve as an example of a participatory management approach in university sports and to be expanded across Türkiye.
