İZÜ hosted the Special Education Workshop

The "Educational Diagnosis and Guidance Workshop," organized by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, was hosted by İZÜ. The event, held in the Museum Hall, was attended by İZÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Güney, Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Mücahit Yentür, and RAM representatives from various districts. The workshop featured discussions and roundtable sessions on accurate diagnostic methods, guidance strategies, and the development of individualized education plans for individuals with special educational needs.

Prof. Güney expressed pride in hosting the workshop and highlighted its role in advancing special education models.

"WE AIM FOR ZERO ERRORS IN SPECIAL EDUCATION"
On the second day of the workshop, Istanbul Provincial Education Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Mücahit Yentür thanked İZÜ for hosting, calling it a meaningful venue. He stressed the importance of consistent quality in special education across Istanbul, stating, "We aim for zero errors in special education. Our children are invaluable, and so are you. Better communication with parents of special needs children is essential, and issues must be shared to improve. This workshop’s outcomes will be critical in shaping the future of special education."
