Course Objective

To keep alive and spread the art of calligraphy, one of the most important arts of Islamic culture and civilization. To guide people who love this art. To introduce countless examples of fine writing throughout history. To reveal their place and values in calligraphy.

Course Content

In order to teach the art of calligraphy in the easiest and fastest way, RIK, one of the types of calligraphy, is the first text that is taught and recommended to be taught. The enthusiasts who started writing with Rik'a have a good and easy start to the art of calligraphy after one semester. In the future, writings such as thuluth, nesih, talük are used. and necessary changes are made according to the needs that arise.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. whether the letters were duly written or not, how much the student adopted this job in the elapsed time period.
  2. Realizes the value of calligraphy
  3. What is the place and value of calligraphy in today's art world? The answer to this question is valuable in terms of revealing the main purpose of the student.
