Course Objective
This course is to examine the Ottoman civilization, a continuation of Islamic civilization, with the world view that has risen above it and its various institutions which have concrete implications. The world view which is the foundation of the Ottoman civilization and the institutions that mediate the passing of the illusion will be examined considering the differences brought about by the conditions of the period and the region. In this context, education, education, military and family related institutions, especially politics, law and economics, will be tried to be put forward
