Course Objective
The Eastern and Western Classics I-II aims to identify and analyze some texts of two different traditions (profound and philosophical) that are influential in the world's thought history. Apart from this being the main objective, the application of different reading styles for the reading and interpretation of classical texts and the introduction of these to students are also of special importance.
Course Content
These texts will be read and studied for a period of time by making choices related to politics, morality, economics, religion, literature and philosophy from Arabic, Persian and Turkish classical texts translated into Turkish to achieve the purpose of the classics of Eastern and Western Classics I.
