Course Objective

To provide the students  with knowledge and civilizations and to enhance their intellectual capacity in facing the contemporary challenges of globalization.

Course Content

In the course, we will cover the fundamental principles of globallisation and civilisation, as well as the interaction of civilisations among each other. 

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. The students should be able to explain the similarities and contrasts among the civilizations of the World.
  2. The students should be able to discuss the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of globalization.
  3. The students should be able to analyze some impacts of global hegemony.
