Course Objective
This course is continuation of the course called Introduction to Finance. Thus, after teaching the basics of finance, this course aims to teach the details of how a corporation manages its finance-related issues such as cost of capital, capital budgeting, cash flow estimations, capital structures and among others,
Course Content
In the first part of the course, corporate finance instruments will be discussed. In the second part, working capital and capital budgeting will be examined in detail.
Course Learning Outcomes
- At the end of this course, the students will be able to, -learn the basic concepts and theories of financial management, -to make calculations about inventories, capital budgeting, -to interpret the connections between reality and theory.
