Course Objective

It is to determine the social depression and dissolution caused by examining all dimensions of poverty as a multidimensional, structural problem intertwined with economic, political, cultural and psychological reflections and to reveal the roles and functions of social work in its prevention.

Course Content

Definition of poverty, concepts related to poverty (absolute poverty, relative poverty, etc.), social depressions and solutions caused by poverty, family and children's effects of poverty, social policy and social work as poverty prevention tools.
