Course Objective

To inform the studens what is philosophical and religious ethics, main features of ethical behaviour, Qur'anic and prophetical foundations of Islamic ethis. And to give them and discuss with them some ethical tiaching of Muslim thinkers and to make them gain ethical sensitivity.

Course Content

Philosophy of ethics, religious ethic, ethical values and behaviours. Ethical values in Qur'an and Hadis (Prophetical sayings). Ethical values according to Muslim thinkers (theologians, sufis and philosophers)

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. 1. Has theoretical and comprehensive knowledge of the field.
  2. 2. The practice can transform the formation of the field.
  3. 3. Gains a background to conduct postgraduate scientific research related to the field.
