Course Objective
The objective of this course is to equip students with fundamental statistical concepts used in sports, the ability to analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions from it. Furthermore, the goal is to equip students with the skills to apply statistical information to athletic performance, training planning, and managerial decisions.
Course Content
This course covers the use of statistical methods in sports. Topics covered include basic statistical concepts, data collection, classification, visualization, measures of central tendency and variability, correlation, regression, and hypothesis testing, with examples specific to sports.
