Course Objective
This course aims to help students understand the concepts of work, workers, employers, and social security, familiarize themselves with the social security system provided by the state for its citizens, and gain information about the legal aspects of work and social security.
Course Content
The characteristics and historical development of labor law and social security law, protection of employee rights, labor and employer rights and contracts, general information about social insurance, the scope of social insurance law, and social assistance in Turkey.
Course Learning Outcomes
- They learn the historical development of Turkish Labor and Social Security Law.
- They gain knowledge about the basic concepts of labor law and employment contracts.
- They are informed about the conditions and consequences of termination of employment contracts.
- They will have information about remuneration in case of dismissal.
- They will have information about remuneration in case of dismissal.
- They will have information about the social security system and their rights in this area.
