Course Objective

The aim of this course is for students to understand the development of Turkish Football History and World Football History, to understand the rules of the game, and to learn the basic technical skills used in football.

Course Content

Providing the necessary knowledge about football history and game rules, providing general and special teaching methods, informing about game systems, applying the basic technical skills used in football and gaining teaching skills.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Learns and applies the teaching steps of basic football-specific skills
  2. Correctly designs drills for teaching basic football-specific skills
  3. He chooses football training drills appropriate to age groups.
  4. Understands and practices warming up and cooling down in football.
  5. Designs training methods and drills based on basic motor skills in football.
  6. He/she will have the knowledge and equipment to fill the gap in appropriate materials during football education.
