Course Objective
The aim of this course is for students to have theoretical knowledge about the concept of physical fitness, to learn the effects of physical activity on physical fitness components and physical fitness tests.
Course Content
Definition of physical fitness, its components, importance, concepts related to physical fitness, measurement and evaluation of physical fitness, methods of determining ideal weight, exercise methods to develop and maintain physical fitness at all ages and physical levels, physical fitness tests, speed, coordination, flexibility, strength-specific tests.

- Can explain cardiorespiratory fitness and evaluation methods (maximal and submaximal tests).
- Can calculate cardiorespiratory fitness and metabolic equivalent calculation methods.
- Can explain muscular fitness (strength and muscular endurance) evaluation and test methods.
- Can explain anaerobic performance tests.
- Can explain flexibility, its importance, and measurement methods.
- Have theoretical knowledge about physical fitness.
