Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the importance of social theories, social issues and sociological approaches in physical education.

Introduction to physical education and sociology, the role of physical education in society, social theories and physical education, equality of opportunity in physical education, gender and social class in physical education, child protection policies in physical education and sports, international physical education and sports policies,
