Course Objective
The aim of this course is to teach students how to make legal and financial transactions in private and working life in accordance with Islamic law and to give information about Islamic law rules and principles which should be taken into consideration while developing financial techniques of Islamic financial institutions.
Course Content
What is contract, contract theory, elements of contract, types and provisions of contract, application, analysis and critique of these contracts in Islamic Finance Institutions.
Course Learning Outcomes
- To learn the basics of the theory of Islamic contracts
- To learn about offer-acceptance, capability of contracting parties, and conditions of the contracts.
- To learn the types of contracts related special rulings
- To be able to analyse the compliance of the financial transactions by the Islamic financial institutions with the Islamic Law
