Course Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the different meanings of Islamic Philosophy and through these understandings, to introduce them to the basic programs of Islamic Philosophy, the basic assumptions that are the source of these problems, and the basic understanding of reality that is the source of these assumptions.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of the following basic topics:
1. What is philosophy?
2. What is the relationship between philosophy and Islam?
3. Different meanings of the composition of Islamic philosophy and
4. It consists of the main issues of Islamic philosophy corresponding to ontology.

Each student is expected to make preliminary readings about the course topics and to actively participate in the course while the issues are discussed.
Rules
Class participation is needed at a rate of seventy percent.

- 1. Gaining an a priori understanding of what philosophy is.
- 2. To have a philosophical understanding of the relationship between Islam and philosophy.
- 3. To have a philosophical understanding of what Islamic philosophy is.
- 4. To be informed about the main issues of Islamic Philosophy.
