Course Objective
To provide students with the ability to understand the importance of the Qiraah texts in the formation process of the science of qiraah with examples of texts from the works of early imams and scholars, especially Imam Kisai, Imam Asim, Imam Nafi and Abu Amr.
Course Content
Certain parts of the body texts would be read and the references of the relevant texts would be examined. Commentary texts referenced by these texts will also be discussed and reinforced in terms of literature knowledge.
Course Learning Outcomes
- To have a general knowledge about recitation sciences
- Recognize the early period imams and scholars who are interested in recitation science and their works.
- Will be familiar with the texts of recitation.
- Can understand the differences of recitation by looking at texts.
- It can distinguish between mutawatir and shaz recitations.
