Course Objective
This course familiarises the students with the basics of Islamic Finance, prodeucts and services of Islamic Finance, Deposit and financing operations of Islamic Banking, deposit creation, Basel III requirements and other special topics in Islamic Finance. This would enable students to apply the knowledge that they get from this course in making economic decisions as well as assisting them to comprehend and evaluate the current economic situations.
Course Content
The objectives of this course are:
1.To enable students to understand the operations of Islamic banks;
2.To examine the deposit and financing opeations of Islamic Banks;
3.To understand the Basel III and IFSB requirements;
4. To Familiarize with the risk management of Islamic finance;
