Course Objective

The aim of this course is to systematically examine Muslim thinkers' views on economics since the time of the prophet.

Course Content

In this course, the economic views and works of prominent Muslim thinkers, including the post-prophetic era, the medieval period, the period up to the 20th century, and modern times, are discussed.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Düşünce ve teorileriyle medeniyetimizin kuruluşunda ve gelişmesinde etkili olan Müslüman düşünürlerin iktisadi düşünceleri öğrenmek.
  2. Hak ve Kuvvet Merkezli Medeniyetlerde iktisadi düşüncenin gelişim seyrini anlamak.
  3. İslam iktisadının tarihsel temellerini anlamaya çalışmak.
  4. Peygamber Efendimiz (sav)'in ve Hulefa-i Raşidin'in iktisadi uygulamalarını ve Asr-ı Saadet'teki iktisadi yapıyı öğrenmek.
