Course Objective
To provide the students with information about the follow-up, care and rehabilitation of nephrology and dialysis patients; provide problem-solving skills in situations requiring care; to be able to integrate the knowledge acquired in previous courses into this course.
Course Content
Describe the treatment and treatment of the urinary tract anatomy and physiology, the methods used in the evaluation and diagnosis of urinary tract diseases and the patient with urinary system disease. Functions of the kidney, excretory physiology and urinary system diagnosis, Diagnosis of renal diseases and nursing care, urinary tract infections (cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis) and nursing care, renal failure (Acute and chronic renal failure, Crush syndrome) and nursing care, vascular of the kidney problems (nephrosclerosis, renal artery stenosis, renal vein thrombosis, diabetic nephropathy), peritoneal dialysis, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis and nursing care, Renal transplantation and nursing care, Renal involvement in systemic diseases (SLE, PAN, henoch schönlein purpura, ITP, multiple myeloma and amyloidosis.
