Course Objective

The aim of the course is to develop the theories and knowledge related to the field of internal medicine nursing, to integrate their knowledge and to examine them with a broad and deep perspective, to have the ability to determine the necessary steps to reach new syntheses, to conduct evidence-based researches, to follow professional legislation and regulations and The aim of this course is to educate nurses who reflect their knowledge on nursing profession and public health and lead to changes.

Course Content

In this course, the role of nutrition in the development of chronic diseases; nursing approach in food-drug interactions, symptom management, emergencies and nursing care in internal medicine, palliative care, the place of genetic studies in internal medicine nursing, quality of life and care burden in chronic diseases, internal medicine nursing in disasters, rehabilitation nursing and evidence-based practices will be discussed.
