Course Objective

To have information about the most common possible psychological problems and treatment methods

Course Content

The aim of this course is to provide students with a thorough understanding of the fundamental causes of behavioral disorders observed in childhood and adolescence (biological, psychological, sociocultural), the classification of these disorders, diagnostic criteria, and, in particular, the current diagnostic criteria within the framework of the DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders); and to provide theoretical and practical knowledge about evidence-based intervention and treatment methods for these disorders.
