Course Objective
This course will focus on understanding statistical concepts and on interpreting and communicating the results of a statistical analysis based on computer. It is designed to develop a basic understanding of descriptive, multivariate inferential statistics.
Course Content
Data types, data collection tools and data entries, transition between data coding types, Frequency distributions and descriptive statistics, Hypothesis testing, Normality testing and Standard scores, Correlation, Pearson, Spearman, partial correlation coefficients, Simple and multiple Regression analysis, Parametric tests (t single sample, 2 samples), Nonparametric tests, Variance analysis, Explanatory Factor Analysis, Confirmatory factor analysis, Structural Equation Model
