DTİ 509 - Encouragement in Sufism / Wisdom Tradition

To examine the methods of irfan tradition, which constitutes the most effective application area of communication in Religious Services in the historical process, and to evaluate how these methods can be used in religious services today. The aim of the course is to provide a vision that will lead from ancient tradition to a bright future.

In this course, the religious and national foundations, traditional dynamics, historical and modern dimensions of the deep-rooted mysticism / irfan tradition are discussed. The formation of the Sufism / irfan tradition as an ideal and institution, the understanding and practices of the school and its leaders are examined. In addition, the life views and moral principles of the institutions and their members who have played role in learning, living and spreading Islam throughout history are examined and it is ensured that they shed light on the present.
