Course Content
In the Maritime Law course, the basic concepts of Maritime Law such as ship and captain are examined. The responsibility of the owner and the owner is explained. The freight contract is being reviewed. Particularly, ship allocation agreements are emphasized and the place of charter agreements within ship allocation agreements is examined. The comparative place of ship allocation contracts and charter contracts within ship allocation contracts is determined and defined. Types of charter contracts, their unique characteristics and common features are examined. Within the scope of the course, carriers in charter contracts; Concepts such as shipper, owner and charterer are filled in and the legal responsibilities of these individuals are mentioned. Type contracts used in practice are translated and evaluated comparatively. The termination of the freight contract is being examined.
