Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge about negotiable instruments law; The aim is to understand the legal nature and functioning of bills of exchange, which are frequently used in practice and are an important part of commercial life.
Course Content
In the negotiable instruments law course, the basic characteristics of negotiable instruments and their classification in various aspects, negotiable instruments theories; Characteristics of negotiable instruments issued to name, order and bearer; loss and cancellation of negotiable instruments; policy, promissory note, formal conditions of the promissory note, policy provisions applicable to the promissory note, written payment promise; Check, check form conditions, transfer, receipt, payment, holder's recourse rights in case of avoidance of payment, statute of limitations, provisions regarding fake and falsified cheques are discussed within the scope of the course.
