Course Objective

Students acquire knowledge of the European Union to provide graduate level in the field of Private Law

Course Content

This course is fictionalised for giving a general information abaout European Union´s judicial system by examining the Union´s legal structure based on founding treaties and institutional establishment.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. General information will be given on European Union.
  2. The European Union examining the functioning of the institutions that constitute and their organizations will be discussed.
  3. Court decisions of the European Communities within the framework of the Common Market application will be discussed.
  4. Sources of Community law, the application of community law will be discussed.
