Course Objective
The purpose of the course is to give general knowledge on principles and institutions of Insurance Law.
Course Content
The concept of risk and insurance, Classification of insurances, The state control of private insurance industry, Insurance contract (Parties of contract/Form of contract/Peculiarities of Contrcat/Policy), Insurable interest, Special types of insurance (Property insurances/Fire insurance/Agriculture insurance/Insurance against the risks of transport/Robbery insurance/Insurance on life and against accident)
Course Learning Outcomes
- Student insurance agents identify and distinguish between each other. Defines basic concepts such as insurance premium, risk, interest.
- The student determines the rights and obligations of the insurer. He / she determines the rights and obligations of the insurer.
- Insurance contracts are distinguished from other contracts. The principal persons of the insurance law, such as the insurer, the insured person, the insured person, can be defined.
- He/she analyzes the situation in which the insurer will be the successor. Analyzes the allocation of the beneficiary in life insurances.
- Differences between social insurance and private insurance are identified.
