Course Objective
To have the knowledge of international trade´s principles, terms and their usage in national and international level and to have the ability to use this knowledge pursuant to academic and business life.
Course Content
This course will examine the following issues: concept of international trade law; scope of international trade law; sources of international trade law; conclusion and performance of international commercial contracts; international commercial terms (INCOTERMS); payment methods in international trade law (i. e. prepayment/advance payment, prefinancing, acceptance credit, payments against goods, payments against documents, and letter of credit); export, import and exchange control regulations, documents used in international trade law (i. e. invoice, airwaybill, bill of lading, EURO.1, packing list, health certificate, weight list, certificate of origin, FIATA documents, A. TR, CMR, and railwaybill).

Course Learning Outcomes
- Concept of international commercial contracts and law applicable to international commercial contracts are examined. Also, CISG Convention and UNIDROIT Principles for conclusion, performance and termination of international commercial contrats are examined.
- Both the private law and public law issues applicable to international trade relations are examined.
