Course Objective
The purpose of this course is to explain the documents on human rights, supranational human rights law with its organs and methods , standards related to human rights and freedoms.
Course Content
The concept of human rights, qualifications, historical development and classification, substantive human rights law, human rights law, human rights procedural law (protection of human rights) are explained.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Knows the general principles of human rights law.
- Knows the legal ways to protect human rights in domestic law.
- Knows basic human rights such as freedom of thought, right to life, freedom of religion and conscience.
- Knows the European Human Rights System within the framework of the protection of Human Rights at regional level.
- Know basic concepts about human rights.
