Course Objective

The recent developments in the area of information technology and the new possibilities of these developments for humanity are being used with unlawful purposes and as a result the classical crime types such as theft, fraud, damage to property, insult and document fraud are insufficient in preventing the violations in the field of information, It is necessary to carry out new work on crimes. In this respect, it is aimed that the students have knowledge about the crimes committed in the field of information.

Course Content

Law regimes related to internet, press, radio-television and cinema films, communication and information acquisition with the changes made in our specific legislation and problems arising from the big developments in television, internet and satellite broadcasting in addition to revealing the features and concepts of mass communication law. The place of freedom in mass communication law will be systematically examined. In this context, the problems encountered in the field of Mass Communication Law will be determined and the ideas put forward for the solution of these problems will be examined.
