Course Objective

The main aim of this course is to examine the types of crime in the Turkish Penal Code in detail in terms of material and spiritual elements, undertakings, affiliates and penalties.

Course Content

There are many types of crime, such as crimes committed against fundamental freedoms, crimes committed against public safety, public order and family life, crimes committed in the field of information, organized crime, and crimes committed against property.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Perceive the concept of criminal law.
  2. Learn the basic principles of criminal law and the basis of criminal responsibility.
  3. Analyzes sources and interpretation subjects in criminal law.
  4. Learns many types of crime that are frequently encountered in daily life.
  5. Successfully accomplish Crime Review.
  6. To have a general knowledge about the crimes of the Turkish Penal Code.
