Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide students with an introduction to the general theory of law and to introduce them to the basic concepts and institutions of both private and public law; To introduce the basic concepts and institutions of law and to learn about the contents of the concepts they meet in their current life and in various places of the education they are taking. On the other hand, in the following periods, the aim is to prepare a meaningful sub-structure of the law courses that they will receive.
Course Content
Topics such as what is law, basic legal systems in the world, sources of law, branches of law, features of those branches, legislation and application of laws, interpretation of laws, judicial systems, people in courts, courts and cases shall be studies
Course Learning Outcomes
- Distinguish the rules of law from other rules of social order.
- It compares public law with private law.
- The Constitution defines law and law as a decision, and identifies differences between them
