Course Objective

The second year students of the Faculty of Law will be introduced to the general theory of law to provide the students with the basic concepts and institutions of both private and public law.

Course Content

Definition of Law, Social Norm Categories and Relationship Between Law, Functions of Law, Justice, Types of Justice, The Nature of Legal Information, Resources of Law, Branches of Law, Enforcement of Law, Application of Law in Terms of Content, Application of Law in Terms of Law, Interpretation of Law and Discretionary Authority, Legal Systems
