Course Objective

This course is intended to introduce students to interpret the environmental problematic, to apply its legal rules, to solve the legal disputes related to the problematic. On the other hand, to examine correlation of enviromental law with adminisrative law, crminal law, international law.

Course Content

Environmental problematic, analyses the right to environment, administrative procedures and sanctions of environmental law – basic concept-, conditions and the consequences of criminal liability of polluter, international dimensions of environmental law.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Students understand the basic concepts and institutions of environmental law.
  2. Students are aware of the basic principles of environmental law.
  3. Students are aware of legal regulations and judicial decisions regarding environmental law.
  4. Students understand the right to the environment as a human right.
  5. Students can discuss legal measures that can be taken to better protect the environment.
