Course Objective
The aim of the course is to teach method and methodology in social sciences and law, to investigate law from a methodological perspective, as well as to teach legal norms, hierarchy of norms, application of positive law and analysis of legal problem.
Course Content
The course covers fundamental principles of law, essentials of comprehension and legal reasoning, general principles of law, concepts of fairness and equity, sources of law, emergence, function, and regulatory nature of law, legitimacy of law and social order.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Students comprehend legal rules and the hierarchy of norms.
- Students comprehend the basis of law from a methodological perspective.
- Students become competent in legal reasoning, interpretation and filling gaps in terms of the application of positive law.
- Students learn method and methodology in social sciences and law.
