Course Objective
The purpose of the course is to introduce the students to basic subjects, concepts and foundations about law. This knowledge will be useful for the students in the remaining part of their education, as well as the business and everyday life. The course particularly aims to evaluate the legal rules concerning family law.
Course Content
The course covers engagement, the conditions and consequences of marriage, adoption, divorce, wardship and guardianship.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Students acquire detailed knowledge about the fundamental concepts of Family Law.
- Students learn the general provisions of marriage and marital properties.
- Students acquire the ability of analyzing the legal problems regarding the beginning and ending of the union of marriage.
- Students acquire the ability of solving the legal problems regarding paternity and and adoption.
