Tafsir Usulü is an introduction to Quranic sciences. It aims to introduce the science of tafsir by teaching the sciences related to the Quran, and to introduce the concepts, issues, disputes and main sources of these sciences. Starting from the definition of the Quran, it aims to teach us the process of descent, its recording, its collection, the sciences related to its words, the sciences that enable us to understand its meaning better, and the features that are not found in other books.

Course Content

In the Tafsir Method course, the vocabulary and terminology of the Qur'an, its names, how it was descended, how it was collected, how it was read and how it was transmitted until today, the sciences that teach the characteristics of its words, the sciences that help to better understand its meaning, and the main chapters of the commentary are covered. Discussions on these issues, different opinions and the evidence on which each opinion is based are then analyzed, the rotten ones are removed and the correctness of the party shown by the sound evidence is judged.
