Course Objective

n this course introduces clinically important psychopathologic features, outcomes, course and treatment outcomes and clinical outcomes. Schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, stress and trauma related disorders, substance use disorders, sexual identity and sexual dysfunctions, eating disorders, sleep disorders, personality disorders, neurocognitive disorders and childhood psychopathologies are introduced.

Course Content

The students who have successfully completed this course will have information about the basic approaches and terminology used to explain clinically important psychopathologies. Can use basic knowledge and concepts about clinical evaluation, diagnosis and classification of psychopathologies. Can use the basic knowledge and concepts of different theoretical approaches to the causes of psychopathology. The students can recognize clinical psychopathologies at a basic level and have information about their treatment.
